undefined array key and variable

$userID = $_COOKIE["userID"];

foreach($userQuery as $userResult){
$userEmail = $userResult["userEmail"];
$userPermission = $userResult["userPermission"];
}

// Setting permission text
if($userPermission == 1){
$userPermissionText = "Admin";
}else if($userPermission == 0){
$userPermissionText = "User";
}


Any idea why is this error popping up?

Hi Colleen, when you get an undefined error, it means that the array is not defined but being called.
You can do that by declaring an empty variable.

$userID = $userPermission = $userEmail "";

Another reason is no value is parsed into the variable.
So you will have to check your code again, as I can see that the User ID & User Email is empty
